Meet The Team
Edward is proprietor & managing pharmacist of Whelan’s Pharmacy. Originally from Ballycullane in South Wexford, Edward studied pharmacy at the University of Brighton and now has over 20 years experience working as a pharmacist. Edward and his wife Veronica moved to Gorey in 2010 and they opened Whelan’s Pharmacy on St Michael’s road in Gorey on 21st August 2013.
Peter is the supervising pharmacist in Riverchapel. Originally from Dublin, he studied in UCD and Trinity before spending two decades in Germany, Austria and the far east, mostly korea & China. Witnessing how different diets – even different Chinese regional cuisines – led to different health conditions in these countries, he returned to Ireland with a passion for the valuable role diet and lifestyle can play in treatment. He is also a lecturer in the Irish Institute of Nutrition & Health.
